Job Description
Our client, a premier healthcare facility, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (UK/Europe-based) to join their Emergency Room (ER) team. As a vital member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals experiencing medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting to the ER, including medical history and current symptoms.
- Triage patients based on the severity of their conditions to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, conditions, and responses to treatment, intervening as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nursing education programs to enhance professional development and care standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Valid and current nursing license; eligible for Saudi nursing licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in EMS including paediatric Emergencies, and currently working in EMS.
- BLS and ACLS certified, preferably with PALS
- Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
- Must be NRP Certified
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity in providing care to a diverse patient population.
