One of our leading Food & Beverage industry client in the UAE is looking for an ambitious, creative, passionate and driven R&D Head Chef to join their production team who look forward to bring new creation in the kitchen.
Excellent culinary and food science abilities with an emphasis on both traditional and alternative grains and baking

Responsibilities:
Develop strong customer relationships and support growth by translating customer needs into viable solutions
Identify opportunities, analyze possible solutions, and make recommendations to support projects and processes
Execute best-in-class food demos/showings to create authentic, positive experiences for customers to increase brand awareness and convey current messaging
Develop formulas and recipes while documenting experiments and maintaining research records. Manage ingredient inventories. Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Prepare and deliver oral and written communication for cross-functional audiences
Adherence to food safety standards for labeling and storing of ingredients, creation of prototypes and food samples, and shipments
Stay current with trends in culinary arts, food service and restaurants, nutrition, flavors, grains, and novel foods
Additional responsibilities related to R&D
Requirements
Degree from an accredited school in Culinary Arts/Culinary Science/Culinary Nutrition, Food Science or equivalent
Minimum of 3 year of relevant professional industry experience
Demonstrated basic understanding of food science, baking, etc.
Must be flexible, with the ability to handle changing priorities and exercise good judgment and discretion on the job with fiscal responsibility
Demonstrated ability to create and tolerance test recipes and procedures for new applications and prototype development
Good sensory/organoleptic abilities, experience with food photography a plus
Experience with Product Vision and nutrition software preferred
Safe food handling or ServSafe® certification would be an advantage.
