Job Description

An exciting role is waiting for a well-experienced Quantitative Developer. Our client is a privately held investment group based in Abu Dhabi. The company is involved in global investment activities which includes wide range of asset classes and investment types.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Collecting necessary data for research and model building.
Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
Research and highlight to the manager cases where more clarity is required regarding context of data or if unsure about classification of annotation
Performing data cleaning activities and preparing the final dataset for analysis & modelling.
Create bespoke experimental database for specific projects.
Proactively research, identify & introduce new data products for financial analysis and modeling.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

Masters or Graduate from STEM field.
Minimum 3 Years of experience working with financial data. (Public Equity)
Experience working with Finance & Time Series Data.
Experience working with data terminals like Bloomberg/FactSet.
Experience in developing pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team including Quant Research, Data Scientists, Investment Team, and Software Engineers.
Expert level programming skills in at least one of C#, C++, R, Python, Java.
Other Technical Skills: Apache NiFi, Data Factory, Web Scraping
