Job Description

Our client is a US pipe fabrication company based in Abu Dhabi, the fastest-growing turn-key industrial pipe fabrication organization in the world is seeking to hire a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer (Pipe Fabrication) to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a QA engineer, you’ll be creating tests that identify issues with software before a product launch. These tests entail other tasks such as developing and running new tests and reporting their results to stakeholders, who will collaborate to fix program bugs or problems:

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible of developing and execute exploratory, automated tests and resolve system malfunctions to ensure product quality.
Monitor all stages of software development to identify to meet quality standards.
Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
Make recommendations for improvement.
Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of pipe fabrication shop experience.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certificate is a MUST.
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist
Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role.
Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent data collection and analysis skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
