Job Description

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QC Mechanical Engineer to join our project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical works with project specifications, codes, and standards throughout all stages of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and quality checks for mechanical installations including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Review and verify mechanical drawings, materials, and method statements to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
Monitor and report on the quality performance of subcontractors and ensure adherence to approved ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation such as inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and material inspection requests (MIRs).
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams for inspections and approvals.
Assist in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and ensure successful handover.
Participate in internal and external audits and support continual improvement initiatives.
Ensure all quality procedures are properly implemented on site.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in quality control within the mechanical field, preferably on large-scale construction projects in the GCC.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, international codes, and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.).
Experience with documentation, inspection processes, and quality control reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with QA/QC systems and procedures.
Transferable Iqama is preferred (for candidates already in KSA).
Proficient in MS Office and relevant QA/QC software.
Good command of English; Arabic is a plus.
