Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for a major infrastructure project in NEOM, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in large-scale construction or oil & gas projects, particularly in tank construction, steel structures, and pipeline systems. The QA/QC Manager will ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: · Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in accordance with international standards and project requirements. · Supervise and manage the QA/QC team, including inspectors and document controllers. · Conduct and oversee inspection and testing activities for incoming materials, in-process work, and final products. · Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, and other applicable standards for oil and gas tank construction. · Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and technical documentation. · Coordinate with the construction team, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues. · Lead internal audits, manage NCRs (non-conformance reports), and ensure timely corrective actions. · Prepare and submit all quality documentation, including QC dossiers and turnover packages, for project handover. · Provide training and mentoring to QA/QC staff to ensure consistent application of quality practices. · Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality performance. · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering or related field. · Minimum of 10 years of QA/QC experience, with at least 5 years in oil & gas or industrial construction projects. · Experience working on EPC or tank construction projects is highly desirable. · Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (API 650/653, ASME, ISO 9001). · Familiarity with NEOM, Aramco, or other mega projects in the GCC is a plus. · Lead Auditor Certification (ISO 9001) is highly preferred. · Proficient in QA/QC documentation, inspection tools, and reporting systems. · Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. · Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
