We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator with 2-3 years of experience in procurement activities to join our team. This role involves managing purchasing processes across departments within our organization. It is open to Saudi Nationals and encompasses the following responsibilities:
Review purchase requisitions with thoroughness, comparing requested items against a master list, addressing any ambiguities, and suggesting alternatives where necessary.
Prepare purchase orders meticulously, verifying specifications and prices, and collaborating with suppliers to identify suitable substitutes. Obtain necessary approvals from relevant departments before finalizing orders.
Ensure the timely acquisition of goods by expediting orders, monitoring supplier performance, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
Verify the receipt of items by conducting rigorous checks against the order, promptly resolving any discrepancies or errors with suppliers.
Facilitate payment authorization for purchases by carefully reviewing and verifying documentation.
Maintain organized records and ensure information accessibility by systematically sorting and filing documents.
Contribute to procurement planning and information management by collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and optimize purchasing strategies.
