Job Description

We are currently working with a long-standing and local Architecture & Engineering Consultancy company based in Abu Dhabi looking for a Project Manager – Supervision (Arabic speaker) to join their team.

In this role, you will (non-exhaustive):

•         Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones.
  
•         Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
  
•         Create and update project plans, considering resource allocation and budget constraints.
  
•         Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits.
  
•         Work closely with the finance department to track costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  
•         Prepare financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.
  
•         Review and negotiate contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  
•         Ensure that all parties involved adhere to contractual obligations.
  
•         Manage change orders and variations to contracts, assessing their impact on the project timeline and budget.
  
•         Establish and enforce quality standards for construction work.
  
•         Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
  
•         Implement quality control processes and address any issues that may arise during construction.
  
•         Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  
•         Monitor and manage project risks throughout the construction process.
  
•         Implement contingency plans as necessary to address unforeseen challenges.
  
•         Serve as the primary point of contact between the project stakeholders.
  
•         Facilitate effective communication among project team members, clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  
•         Conduct regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress and address any concerns.
  
•         Ensure that construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  
•         Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
  
• ·        Collaborate with safety officers to address any safety-related issues promptly.
  
• ·        Address and resolve issues that may arise during construction, such as design discrepancies, delays, or conflicts among project team members.
  
• ·        Foster positive relationships with clients by providing excellent service and addressing their concerns.
  
• ·        Lead and motivate the project team, providing guidance and support.
