Job Description

Responsibilities

·        Responsible for the overall management of project budgeting, execution, support and planning with optimum resources, to ensure that projects objectives including contractual commitments are achieved.

·        Representative of CONTRACTOR to the CLIENT from the effective date of the contract up to the date of completion of the contractual obligations. Consequently, the PM shall be the focal point on all matters and actions related to the Project.

·        The PM is responsible for ensuring the implementation on his project the Corporate Quality Management (QM) and HSE-S Management System (HSEM).

·        The PM must have comprehensive knowledge of the Contract to understand the associated risks and to ensure a proper execution of his responsibilities. This requires a thorough analysis of the contract articles and a frequent reference to the same throughout the project execution (especially during the management of risks).

·        Verify and agree selected key personnel for administrative and technical jobs and to delegate authority.

·        Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

·        Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

·        Ensure resource availability and allocation

·        Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

·        Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels

·        Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

·        Manage and co-ordinate the activities with regard to Contract Estimating, Cost Control and Change Order Administration and Review

·        Direct work and ensure that communication lines are working correctly

·        Ensure that contractual and legal matters are properly dealt with

·        Monitor and control third parties such as SUBCONTRACTORs and VENDORs



Requirements

Qualification, Experience and Skills

Typically, an Engineering graduate, with 05 years of experience in Projects and Project Management of Petrochemical and Oil & Gas plants.

Must have knowledge and experience in handling oil & Gas related Projects.

Certification like PMP is preferable.
