Job Description
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to support procurement operations for high-profile construction projects in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers within the construction or infrastructure sector. The role requires excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage procurement activities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: · Manage the full procurement cycle from RFQ to PO issuance, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. · Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. · Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors to secure optimal terms. · Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation including purchase orders, vendor contracts, and comparison sheets. · Coordinate with project, engineering, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations. · Track and expedite deliveries to meet project timelines and resolve any supply or logistics issues. · Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards. · Maintain a preferred supplier list and contribute to ongoing supplier performance evaluation. · Support budgeting and cost control initiatives through strategic procurement planning. · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. · Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or contracting industry. · Strong knowledge of construction materials, subcontracting, and vendor management. · Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). · Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. · Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. · Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly desirable.
