Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting for a prominent fit-out and joinery company based in Dubai, UAE. Our valued client is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities within the fit-out and joinery industry. This pivotal role demands exceptional negotiation skills, a keen business sense, and a deep understanding of supply chain management. The Procurement Manager will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to drive cost savings, ensure supplier performance, and optimize the overall procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the fit-out and joinery industry.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, encompassing vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
- Identify and assess potential suppliers, conduct due diligence, and provide recommendations based on quality, cost, delivery, and other pertinent factors.
- Engage in negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring competitive pricing and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement needs with business objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and addressing any issues or disputes promptly.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance against predefined metrics, addressing any performance gaps.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and enhance procurement processes, promoting efficiency and cost savings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify potential risks proactively and implement suitable mitigation strategies.
- Analyze data and generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role within the fit-out and joinery industry.
- Profound knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for data-driven decision-making.
- Outstanding negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in utilizing procurement software and tools.
