Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the worlds leading food manufacturing companies in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Our client is looking for a Procurement Analyst who will be a part of the Procurement team, and lead, develop, negotiate and implement Direct Materials and Production Operations negotiations in close collaboration with the main stakeholders.
The selected candidate will -
Be responsible in leading projects to improve the procurement processes and business results.
Take an active role in defining commercial strategy towards categories in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
Ensure supplying and performance for the region with the best cost comparing to the market complying with the agreed specification and SLA’s.
Develop alternative suppliers in order to reduce costs according to quality standards and operation defined criterias
Make continuous analysis about the global and local market, economic changes and all related drivers to increase the decision quality in procurement strategies to create a sustainable competitive advantage
Take an active role to create short-mid-long term procurement strategies and budgeting process of DM under his/her responsibility.
Develop and maintain supply contingency plan in place
Create and manage database for procurement
Budget and update forecast prices
Provide periodical reports and presentations for managerial level
Requirements
- Graduation in Economic / Engineer / Business Background
- At-least 3-5 years experience in Procurement
- At-least 2-3 years experience to negotiate Direct Materials categories
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain
- Solid knowledge / background of Middle East Market
- Being familiar with budget, cost, finance mathematics
- Expertise in the tools of Strategic Sourcing and related concepts (TCO-Total Cost of Ownership,Supplier Development, Market Research etc.)
- Experience in - ERP (SAP or Oracle), Procurement (MM), Contract Management, MSOffice applications (Excel, PP etc).
- Strong understanding of processes, procedures and policies of contract reviews in FMCG
