As an ELV Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in understanding client needs, designing tailored ELV solutions, and providing technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales phase. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that proposed ELV systems meet client requirements and align with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to design ELV solutions that address client objectives.
Select appropriate hardware and software components and create detailed system designs.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential clients, showcasing proposed ELV solutions.
Create accurate cost estimates for ELV systems, including equipment, materials, labor, and services.
Work closely with the sales team to develop comprehensive proposals.
Evaluate and select vendors and suppliers based on product quality, pricing, and compatibility with solutions.
Assist the sales team by addressing technical inquiries and concerns from clients.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and standards related to ELV systems.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Should have experience with AutoCAD, Preparing BOQs and tendering
Strong technical expertise in ELV systems, including structured cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, and more
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
Prior experience in a presales or technical sales role is a plus
