Job Summary:

The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Plant and ensuring efficient production processes. This role involves managing a team of production staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:
   
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the plant, including production scheduling, quality control, and inventory management.
  
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency.
  
2. Team Leadership:
   
• Lead and manage a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  
3. Equipment Maintenance:
   
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure plant equipment is in good working condition.
  
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  
4. Safety and Compliance:
   
• Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  
5. Quality Assurance:
   
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards.
  
• Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
  
6. Inventory Management:
   
• Monitor raw materials and finished product inventories to ensure adequate supplies for production.
  
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and excess stock.
  
7. Cost Control:
   
• Monitor and control operational costs to ensure the plant operates within budget.
  
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  
8. Reporting and Documentation:
   
• Prepare regular reports on plant performance, including production volumes, quality metrics, and safety incidents.
  
• Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and inventory activities.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
  
• 8 + years of experience in plant operations or a similar role.
  
• Strong technical knowledge of plant equipment and processes.
  
• Leadership and team management skills.
  
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
