Job Description

Scope:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time SME Advisor to provide strategic guidance and expertise to our CEO in the areas of logistics and sustainability. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in shaping our companys strategic direction and driving initiatives that promote sustainability and efficiency in our operations.

Job Duties:
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and refine the companys strategic vision and goals within the logistics and sustainability sectors.
  • Provide expert advice and insights on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to logistics and sustainability.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our logistics operations, with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact.
  • Advise on the development and implementation of sustainable practices, policies, and initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and sustainability, and provide regular reports and updates to the CEO.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and external stakeholders, including industry experts, government agencies, and sustainability organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations, standards, and certifications in the logistics and sustainability fields, and ensure compliance within the organization.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in logistics, sustainability, environmental science, business administration, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience and expertise in the logistics and sustainability sectors, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to logistics and sustainability.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a flexible schedule to accommodate part-time hours.
