Key Responsibilities

•       Oversee the Network and Security Infrastructure in the Datacenters and THE CLIENT Campuses

•       Oversee the Managed Service Contracts of Networks and Security Infrastructure

•       Manage the Annual Maintenance Contract and Software Support subscription and contracts related to IT Infrastructure and make sure all of them are under valid support contract

•       Manage the implementation of technical projects by directing and coordinating activities in order to ensure projects are completed on time

•       Managing Etisalat Services (WAN, Internet, PRI) and coordinate with Etisalat Managed Services and Technical Support teams link related issues. Manage the Etisalat services payments

•       Prepare the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) for all the infrastructure related projects, license subscriptions and maintenance contracts and coordinate with procumbent to complete the APP.

•       Prepare the RFP documents for IT Infrastructure related projects and coordinate procurement process with procurement department.

•       Maintain accurate documentation for Network and Security Infrastructure

•       Manage the department's budget, track expenditure, and ensure they are within the limits of the budget.

•       Raise the PR for all Infrastructure related projects and contracts

Qualifications:

•       Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

•       Minimum of 5 or 10 years of experience in network engineering roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex network solutions.

•       Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and SD-WAN.

•       Extensive hands-on experience with network routing, switching and Wireless LAN from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HPE/Aruba.

•       Extensive hands-on experience with network security infrastructure from vendors such as PaloAlto firewalls, FortiGate firewalls, Infoblox DNS/DHCP, Cisco FirePower IPS.

•       Extensive hands-on experience with F5 LTM ASM and APM configuration and management.

•       Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and technologies, with experience deploying and managing networks in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

•       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and drive resolution.

•       Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

•       Relevant Certification from Cisco, PaloAlto, FortiGate, Infoblox, F5.
