Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level network architecture, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks. • Implement network monitoring and management solutions to proactively identify and resolve network issues, minimize downtime, and optimize performance. • Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, IPS, DNS, VPN, Web Security, Load balancers, WAF and other networking and security infrastructure. • Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN, to ensure optimal performance and security. • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network problems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to resolve issues in a timely manner. • Implement network monitoring and management solutions to proactively identify and resolve network issues, minimize downtime, and optimize performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades, expansions, and enhancements in alignment with business requirements. • Manage and monitor Internet and WAN Links across THE CLIENT campuses. • Manage and monitor THE CLIENT’s Cisco IP Telephony infrastructure. • Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, inventory, and standard operating procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Assist in the development and enforcement of network policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and security. • Supervise and mentor junior network technicians, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development. • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed for network emergencies or maintenance activities. • Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoC) for the latest network products and technologies. • Produce performance reports, weekly reports on network status and serviceability in order to alert management of faulty areas and performance bottlenecks that affect the network service. • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure network equipment and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 or 10 years of experience in network engineering roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex network solutions. • Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and SD-WAN. • Extensive hands-on experience with network routing, switching and Wireless LAN from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HPE/Aruba. • Extensive hands-on experience with network security infrastructure from vendors such as PaloAlto firewalls, FortiGate firewalls, Infoblox DNS/DHCP, Cisco FirePower IPS. • Extensive hands-on experience with F5 LTM ASM and APM configuration and management. • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and technologies, with experience deploying and managing networks in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and drive resolution. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Relevant Certification from Cisco, PaloAlto, FortiGate, Infoblox, F5.
