Job Description

Job Location: Saudi Arabia

Opportunity Type: On-Site / On-Shore Directly on Client Payroll.

Required Expertise Level-2 Network Skills and Troubleshooting to Configure / Monitor on-premises, Edge, and Cloud Services / Devices and resolves issues during outages while conforming to enterprise ITSM processes, meeting committed service levels, and providing accurate and timely status updates
Manage IPSEC, VPN, SSL certificates, patches / Configuration / Upgrades and undertakes pre-deployment testing.
Deploys, administers, and utilizes SDN and traditional network monitoring and management systems
Use monitoring tools and static methods to measure system performance, Pro-active prediction of performance glitches and conducts performance tuning
Manage Disaster Recovery DR / Business Continuity Plan BCP situation with Action-Plan, set-up, operation, maintenance, and testing of LAN/WAN/DC Networking/Co location and manages failover and fallback activities in the assigned areas
Utilizes vendor support agreements to escalate applicable issues, track resolution, and implement corrective or preventive actions
Installs, configures, and secures routers, switches, firewalls, NGFWs, load balancers, appliances, SD-WAN, and access points according to approved technical design specifications and consistent with enterprise IT standards
Supports modernization and relocation requirements by orchestrating and undertaking migrations of network infrastructure to future states including migration to cloud
Works with Cybersecurity and IT Security to secure network infrastructure through policy compliance, patch management, and other measures
Maintains network and user documentation, acquires knowledge from vendors by means of a formal knowledge transfer process, and champions knowledge sharing within the practice
Addresses workplace connectivity needs including but not limited to end user connectivity, printing, time and attendance, conference systems, CCTV, and supervises LAN administration and break/fix.

Requirements

Expertise and Experience in Managing Complex Network, multi-site cloud and traditional environments with demanding SLAs and OLAs
Knowledge and Experience in Configuration and Management of modern enterprise networking systems, wired/wireless, virtualized environments, hybrid cloud, VPN, SSL, and Edge
Proficiency in the installation and management of network infrastructure using Cisco, VMWare, and F5
Knowledgeable in Windows Server, RHEL, and scripting
Acquainted with a broad range of networking technologies, platforms, and tools
Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS administration, AWS/Azure
Demonstrated skills in the deployment and operation of Cisco, Fortinet, F5, and Palo Alto
Possesses in-depth understanding of IT operational risks and drives the response process in order to minimize the impact of these risks
Ability to identify, triage, diagnose, and manage incidents and resolve them where possible
Conversant with IT Service Management and service level reporting
Current Cisco, VMWare and F5 certifications
Familiarity with Network infrastructure & Operational technology preferably in oil and gas industry
