· Recommending promotional activities to achieve targeted inventory and sales goals.
· Analyzing the zero seller reports and communicating to store managers to ensure the products are on display as per VM guidelines.
· Meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock. Ordering stocks, agreeing on timescales & delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork.
· Setting realistic S.M.A.R.T annual target phasing for stores.
· Required advanced computer skills in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas)
· Analyzing actual sales results to plan and forecast season sales and inventories.
· Monitor and analyses planned assortment by the door to achieve plan turn goals and ROI.
· Controlling stock levels based on the forecasts for the season.
· Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers and ensuring adequate qty is available.
· Monitor slow sellers and take action to reduce the price or set promotions, as necessary.
· Monitoring store capacity and analyzing historical data and current trends to mitigate risk and identify opportunities for profitable growth.
· Setting up and maintaining seasonal range and allocation plan.
· Working on data gathering and analyzing and organizing stock movement by tracking orders between stores and warehouse.Requirements
· Minimum 3-5 year’s experience as a senior merchandiser.
· Knowledgeable in the required field.
