Oversee and coordinate mechanical maintenance and repair activities in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Lead and manage a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Diagnose mechanical issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to maintain optimal machine performance.
Ensure that all mechanical work is completed to high-quality standards and within specified timelines.
Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and promote a safe working environment for the team.
Monitor and manage spare parts and equipment inventory to ensure availability for repairs and replacements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and work orders for future reference.
Assist in budget preparation and control by optimizing maintenance processes and resource allocation.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors for the procurement of parts and services, negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance.
