Job Description

• Design and engineer mechanical systems, components, and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations. Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools.
  

• Coordinate and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and design specifications. Conduct inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  

• Manage projects by developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams and contractors, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion. Assist in budgeting, procurement of mechanical components, and implementation of quality control measures.
  

• Select suitable materials for mechanical components and systems, considering factors such as durability, compatibility, cost, and environmental impact. Procure materials and equipment, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery.
  

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, international codes, and industry best practices by conducting risk assessments, implementing safety measures, and performing regular inspections. Maintain comprehensive documentation and records to support safety and compliance standards.
  

• Conduct tests, simulations, and validation procedures to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and reliability of mechanical systems and components. Utilize specialized software, instrumentation, and test equipment to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  

• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and as-built drawings to accurately record project progress and outcomes. Generate progress reports, feasibility studies, and cost analysis reports to facilitate effective communication with management and clients.
  

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in mechanical engineering through continuous learning and research. Contribute to the development of innovative solutions, propose technical advancements, and optimize system efficiency and sustainability.
