Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in the boat.
Determine the boat condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying worn & damaged parts.
Corrects vessel deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts or systems, such as power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
Carry out inspection of vessel to assess whether they are seaworthy and whether any machinery onboard is safe for usage.
Complies vessel requirements by testing engine, safety, & combustion control standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as engine mechanic.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical & electronic components.
Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
Min 5years work experience in marine/shipbuilding industries
Diploma/ITI in fitter/mechanical/industrial/instrumentation
