Working Hours: 9 hours duty (with breaks, straight/split shifts)
Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum + benefits as per Oman law
Main Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Manage a variety of health conditions ranging from common illnesses to complex diseases.
Health Promotion: Advise patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle choices to improve quality of life.
Medical Procedures: Perform minor surgical and non-surgical procedures according to your expertise and training.
Emergency Care: Respond to emergency health concerns promptly and efficiently.
Referrals: Make appropriate referrals to specialist doctors when necessary.
Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with medical research and advances in general practice medicine.
Essential Qualifications:
Medical Degree from a recognized institution.
Valid Oman Ministry of Health (MOH) License or eligibility for licensures.
Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience.
Verification of credentials through Data Flow/Pearson or similar verification service.
Previous experience and familiarity with the healthcare system in Oman preferred.
Skills Required:
Clinical Skills: Proficiency in general medical and minor surgical procedures.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage).
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic abilities and decision-making skills.
Adaptability: Flexibility to handle the varied demands of general practice.
Specific Criteria:
