Job Description

*Job Title: Property Technical and Maintenance Manager*

 

*Responsibilities:*

 

1. Oversee and manage all technical aspects of the property portfolio, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to safety standards.

 

2. Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to enhance the overall condition and longevity of properties.

 

3. Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to execute repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.

 

4. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address technical issues, safety concerns, and necessary repairs.

 

5. Collaborate with property managers to assess maintenance needs and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.

 

6. Manage budgets for maintenance projects, negotiate contracts, and source cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

 

7. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in property technology to recommend and implement best practices.

 

8. Implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact and operational costs.

 

9. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, service providers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective support.

 

10. Create reports and documentation on maintenance activities, budgets, and project timelines for internal and external stakeholders.

 

*Qualifications:*

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in property maintenance and technical management.

- Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Familiarity with budget management and cost control.

- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
