Job Description

A new opportunity has come up for Furniture manufacturing based in Sharjah. Our client is looking for a well-experienced Equipment Mechanic/Maintenance Engineer to help them manage production operations for their base in Sharjah. The Maintenance Engineer for the furniture manufacturing industry is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of machinery and equipment in a furniture production facility. This role involves ensuring uninterrupted production, minimizing downtime, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Upgrades and Modifications and repairs of equipment to ensure their optimal functionality.

Maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment components, ensuring that critical spare parts are readily available for prompt repairs.

Ensure all machinery and equipment meet safety standards and regulations, and implement safety measures to protect employees and equipment operators.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, and generate reports as required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you need to possess the following criteria:

Min 3 years of experience in similar production /factory operations equipment.
Expertise as an equipment mechanic with proper experience in maintenance, troubleshooting & and overhauling for the production equipment.
Should be willing to be based on a factory site in Sharjah and work 6 days a week.Flexible with working hours in case of emergency on the site
Accommodation – On-site will be provided by the company.
