Job Title: Lifting/Rigging Supervisor

Industry: Oil and Gas

Work Location: Qatar

Salary: ₹1,40,000 Per Month

Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging operations to ensure safe and efficient execution of tasks.
Inspect and certify lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop and implement detailed lifting plans in collaboration with project teams.
Monitor and assess site conditions to mitigate risks and ensure safety during lifting operations.
Provide hands-on guidance and support to rigging teams to ensure adherence to established procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for lifting personnel before the commencement of operations.
Maintain detailed records of lifting activities, including incident reports and equipment maintenance logs.
Ensure all lifting equipment is regularly inspected, maintained, and certified as per regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address specific lifting challenges and optimize workflows.
Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving issues related to lifting operations on-site.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in the Oil and Gas industry.
Prior experience in Qatar is mandatory.
TUV Certification (3 or 5 Days) is a MUST.
High school diploma or equivalent (degree in engineering or a related field preferred).
Must be locally available in Qatar for immediate hiring.

Strong knowledge of lifting and rigging techniques, tools, and equipment.
Proficient in interpreting lifting plans, technical drawings, and load charts.
Familiarity with international safety standards and best practices in lifting operations (e.g., LOLER, ASME).
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in using basic computer software for documentation and reporting.
