ITP Media Group is looking for a Key Account Director to join the newly Middle East operated addition to Complex platform and ICON MENA.

This person will play a pivotal role in launching a new global media brand in the region. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for cultivating and managing strong client relationships while ensuring the successful delivery of advertising and creative activities.

This role demands experience that enables effective collaboration with top clients, harnessing client servicing expertise to provide exceptional solutions, and leading advanced projects while applying industry knowledge. Consequently, candidates for this position should possess strong communication skills, project management experience, and an unwavering commitment to achieving our clients objectives.

Furthermore, the role involves financial responsibility for managing project budgets and a strategic understanding of the clients business, making it an integral part of the position. The Key Account Director should also excel in solving intricate market challenges and implementing processes to enhance workflow efficiencies.


Responsibilities:

  • Advance client development plans, focusing on objectives, opportunities, commercial success, and conversion strategies.
  • Craft compelling, customized proposals using strategic insights to secure new projects and effectively negotiate with clients to maximize profitability.
  • Proactively address challenges and identify revenue-generating opportunities with an entrepreneurial mind-set.
  • Ensure operational excellence across all managed accounts.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of clients businesses and industries.
  • Manage financial projections, promptly identifying and communicating risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to maintain forecast accuracy.
  • Review monthly billing spreadsheets with clients, as necessary.

Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, advertising, media, digital, or public relations.
  • 6-10 years of experience in communications and media publishing or a related field, with a preference for industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing multi-millions commercial operations.
  • Proficiency in navigating complex client organizations, positioning the brand, and fostering enduring client relationships.
  • Ideally, being genuinely interested in global pop-culture and regional sub-cultures


Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, in English, and ideally in Arabic
  • Leadership skills, promoting team problem-solving with a positive, solutions-oriented approach, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Effective communication with employees at all levels and external stakeholders.
  • Capable of identifying opportunities, presenting ideas, and upselling services to optimize client outcomes.
