Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and competitive cost estimates (Bill of Materials) for joinery projects. The role requires focused expertise in estimating disciplines related to joinery, upholstery, and FFE (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) works. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and commercial acumen in analyzing drawings, project specifications, and related documentation to support precise costing efforts.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and competitive cost estimates (Bill of Materials) for joinery projects
Specialize in estimating disciplines including joinery, upholstery, and FFE works
Analyze drawings, project specifications, and related documents for accurate costing
Utilize Advanced Excel, AutoCAD, and PlanSwift in estimation tasks
Ensure compliance with DCD requirements or design requirements for fire-rated and acoustic doors

Requirements

Proven experience in estimating for joinery, upholstery, and FFE works
Technical and commercial knowledge in analyzing project specifications and drawings
Proficient in Advanced Excel, AutoCAD, and PlanSwift
Knowledge of fire-rated and acoustic doors as per DCD requirements or design specifications
Preferably a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
