Job Description

Are you the tech troubleshooter everyone turns to? Are you passionate about keeping systems running smoothly and solving issues before they become problems? If so, this is your opportunity to be the go-to expert!

We’re looking for an experienced IT Support Technician who will play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day functionality of IT systems, providing fast and effective support, and maintaining high standards across system performance and user experience.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve user issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for desktops, laptops, tablets, servers, printers, and scanners.
Diagnose and resolve system, network, and application issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, system patches, updates, and upgrades.
Visit operational sites (fuel stations, inspection stations, depots) to provide on-site support.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless IT operations and project delivery.
Monitor and maintain inventory of all IT assets, licenses, and ensure compliance.
Support PC systems, retail automation solutions, and user applications to minimize disruptions.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, ensuring SLAs are met for all incidents and requests.
Assist with termination, installation, and configuration of forecourt automation devices and ensure their smooth operation.
Facilitate user training and provide clear communication regarding new systems and updates.
Proactively recommend solutions and improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
8–10 years of hands-on experience in IT support and administration.
Basic experience with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software in Windows environments.
Certifications:

CompTIA A+ / Network+
ITIL 4 Foundation or higher
Azure fundamentals or cloud certification (preferred)
Bilingual: Arabic and English
Valid Qatar driving license.
Oil & Gas industry experience is an added advantage
