Job Description

We are looking to hire a Network Engineer/ IT Support Engineer for one of a Top Class Outlet located in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi.

To qualify for this position, you should have at least 3 - 5 years as a Network / IT Support Engineer in the Food & Beverage Industry. It is an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults and replacing parts as required.
Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with Sales Team and Management.
Testing and evaluating new technology.
Provide Onsite and Online Support
Monitoring network engineering performance and ensuring system availability and reliability
Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors in Computer Application (Computers), Bachelor of Technology/ Engineering (Computers)

Proven hands-on network engineering experience of 3 - 5 years.
CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools
The candidate must be proficient in English and must have strong communication skills.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate hands-on experience in the following areas:
PC, Server hardware / software installation & troubleshooting.
Routers / Firewalls / Switch / VPN configuration and troubleshooting
Knowledge of IP telephony and Access Control systems will be an added advantage
