JOB PURPOSE The incumbent will play a key role in understanding the needs of the business and helping to match it to opportunities for growth. This internship would suit someone who’s passionate about people, research and co-ordination. The HR Intern is someone who is organized, passionate and digitally savvy to help support the HR team in Dubai. This role is aimed at giving someone great insight into working in a HR department in one of the largest media company, and have them take responsibility to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department’s daily activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Intern – HR will primarily be responsible for but not limited to the following: o Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms o Screening candidate applications, arranging interviews and liaising with our colleagues in the KSA, UAE and across the other countries in our market. o Recommend and assist with the delivery of activities that’s aligned to the HR strategies o Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks o Maintain active monitoring and follow-up through on-going Talent Acquisition process o Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days) o Provide support to all Hiring Managers and candidates as required o Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training budgets by department) o Monitor and track Talent Acquisition activities by maintaining accurate updated records of candidates information and a dashboard o Strive to expand our offerings by researching new sources to recruit and speaking to potential candidates to build a pipeline for future roles. o Research and recommend recruiting tools and portals that aligns with the HR & TA strategy o Conduct an analysis and recommend graduate programs based on market best practice o Research and recommend effective processes and tools for HR & Talent Acquisition evaluation and reporting o Actively initiate relationships and partnerships with industry associations related to the media industry · Microsoft Excel · Microsoft PowerPoint · Microsoft Outlook · Confident & dynamic public speaker · Enthusiastic and positive personality · High degree of professionalism · Organizing & Planning · Problem solving · Influencing & Interpersonal · Be passionate about people.
