Job Description

Black Pearl is working with a leading client in the UAE who is seeking an experienced and reliable HR Generalist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the day-to-day HR functions, with a focus on employee onboarding and general HR tasks, except for recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong understanding of HR processes and UAE labor law to support the growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive experience for all new hires.
  • General HR Functions: Oversee various HR functions including maintaining employee records, HR documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE labor laws.
  • HR Reporting: Create, update, and maintain regular HR reports using Excel and other HR tools. Analyze and present data to assist in decision-making processes.
  • HRIS Implementation & Maintenance: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring the system supports efficient HR processes.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures. Address any employee concerns or issues, escalating where necessary.
  • Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with UAE labor laws and relevant regulations.
  • Training & Development: Support HR initiatives related to employee development and performance management.
  • HR Documentation: Maintain accurate HR files and records, including contracts, performance appraisals, and employee handbooks.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of total HR experience.
  • UAE Labor Law Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Proficient in Excel and other HR tools to generate and analyze reports.
    • Knowledge of HRIS implementation and usage.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently, with a high level of dependability.
    • Good understanding of HR processes and employee relations.
  • Location: The candidate should be based in the UAE.
