Our client is a family owned business looking to hire a HR & Admin Manager who is SHRM certified to lead routine functions of Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practice. You will be responsible for
- Overseeing daily workflow of the department
- Partner with leadership to understand and execute organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring ofqualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- A minimum of 7 years of human resource management experience preferred
- Should be SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certified
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to act with Integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
