Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in social media strategy, community growth, and content marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership position within a premium publisher or creative agency.
Proven experience using WhatsApp groups and broadcast channels as key engagement tools.
Deep knowledge of social media analytics (native and third-party) and performance metrics, with the ability to pivot content strategies based on data and insights.
Proven strategy and execution experience with platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Whatsapp, Snap, Pinterest, YouTube and more.
Proven contacts with influencers, social talent and platform connections with key players, preferably within the MENA region.
Skills and Expertise:
Strong ability to create and lead dynamic social media and community growth strategies.
Expertise in creating commercially successful content, collaborating with paid media strategists, and driving audience acquisition.
Exceptional content creation and copywriting skills, including basic skills in video editing and photography).
Strong managerial experience with the ability to nurture and lead a team of social editors and creators.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional organisational skills, with ability to manage and delivery multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with paywalls and subscription models in digital media a plus.
