Our client is a BPO and we are recruiting a UAE experienced people operations manager for their newly established customer service centre in the UAE.
As a business partner, this hands-on role is the interface between the customer service team and senior management and operations teams.
The primary purpose of this role is to build a value driven relationship with the client ensuring that all employees are engaged to deliver an excellent customer experience in line with their KPIs.
Candidates must have proven capabilities in managing large multilingual, multinational teams (up to 200 employees), employee relations and building a vibrant company culture ensuring employee engagement and welfare.
Role Summary
Assist with recruitment and manage onboarding, off-boarding, internal transfers, performance, absence, leave and employee relations matters.
Provide efficient and effective support to reduce operational bottlenecks to ensure the smooth running of the customer service operations.
Manage the employee performance evaluation cycle.
Manage day to day HR issues; ensure organization policies are applied consistently and fairly.
Work extensively with the customer service teams to increase employee engagement, retention and development; proactively manage absenteeism and attrition.
Develop and implement employee related policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the delivery leadership teams to accelerate people performance and increase efficiency and output.
Develop, implement and manage employee programs to create a culture where excellent behaviours and performance are recognized and rewarded.
Develop and manage employee surveys and taking action to improve the working environment.
Carry out investigations for disciplinaries and grievances.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
10 years’ UAE experience in leadership in a BPO, outsourced, contact centre or HR shared services environment with sound knowledge of UAE Labor Laws.
Proven track record of building a performance-centric culture in a high growth environment with strong business and people management experience.
Ability to deal with employee issues quickly and amicably.
UAE experience of employee onboarding, engagement, retention, development and wellbeing.
Experience of managing a multi-cultural and multilevel people organization of 200 employees; scaling operations and optimizing employee performance.
Candidate Profile
Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be able to work in Sharjah.
Fluent in English.
Strategic leader who can quickly and successfully drive change management and people engagement.
Emotionally balanced, confident with an outgoing personality to coach and has strong people management, stakeholder relations and client management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influencing and conflict management skills.
Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, complex environment.
