• Identify the key marketing activities and assign responsibilities to marketing team members.
• Design and develop corporate marketing plan.
• Assign third party agencies and manage the agreed deliverables.
• Ensure proper representation of brand in the market.
• Identify the effective medium for brand and projects brands.
• Ensure proper protection of brand.
• Develop and manage branding agreements with partners.
• Develop and lead the implementation of the annual marketing plan and budget based on the planned developments and sales strategy
• Develop and ensure consistent implementation of branding guidelines that strengthen market positioning
• Lead/oversee market research and competitor analysis to guide marketing efforts that give a competitive edge
• Maintain a comprehensive and up to date CRM database to support the Sales team in analysing customer profiles/segments
• Oversee marketing campaigns and event planning that enables new customer engagement and retention of old customers
• Optimise the use of digital and social media platforms to promote brand with a wider audience
• Oversee the management of any corporate communication/marketing messages that are delivered through internal or external channels to ensure accuracy and alignment to corporate guidelines
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the marketing activities and plans on a periodic basis
• Oversee preparation and management of all marketing related documentation for ease of reference and retrieval
• Set and communicate performance expectations to team members and provide coaching to the team to address development areas that will enhance individual and team performance
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR or any relevant discipline
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
• Successful record in developing and managing brands.
• Successful record in managing marketing team / department.
