We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data Science to lead our data science team. The ideal candidate will have a deep hands-on background in data analysis and artificial intelligence, with a focus on developing additional data layers and AI models. This role is crucial for driving innovation and implementation of data-driven strategies within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data scientists and analysts.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Data Analysis and Model Development:
Hands-on involvement in designing, developing, and implementing complex data analysis projects.
Develop and enhance AI models to improve decision-making, automate processes, and drive efficiencies.Work closely with different departments to understand their data needs and provide strategic guidance.
Data Sets Development:
Lead initiatives to develop additional data sets that enhance the organization’s data supply.
Ensure the integration of new data sources and the scalability of our data platforms.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute a long-term vision for the data science department.
Align data science initiatives with business goals and objectives.
Research and Innovation:
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data science and AI.
Lead research initiatives to explore new methodologies and tools in data analysis and AI.
Requirements
Preferred Certifications:
Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science, with a leadership background.
In-depth knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including Azure Data Factory.
Experience with workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow.
Familiarity with AI platforms and studios for model development and deployment.
Extensive knowledge of various database technologies, including graph and columnar databases.
Strong skills in machine learning, AI model development, and data analysis.
Demonstrated ability to lead successful data science projects and teams.

Medical Insurance Plan
The Company provides a medical insurance plan as per Company policy. Leaves & Holidays Policy as per Saudi Labor laws, some of which being:
Annual Leave: 22 business days of paid Annual Leave per contract year.
Holidays: paid Holidays inclusive of Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha, Saudi National Day and Saudi Founding Day.
Compassionate Leave: Paid Compassionate Leave of seven 7 calendar days, in the event of death of employee’s parent, spouse, or child.
Sick Leave: Properly documented sick leave with full pay for up to 30 calendar days; and an additional 60 calendar days at 75% of salary, during each year of service.

Employees who do not receive housing by the Company receive a Housing Allowance of 25% of the employees basic salary.
