About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious educational institution in Al Ain,UAE for the position of Head of Arabic Department (HOD). This leadership role requires a dedicated and experienced Arabic educator who is passionate about language education and departmental development. The successful candidate must be ADEK-qualified, fluent in Arabic, and possess a strong command of English.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Arabic Language Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
  

• Develop, review, and implement curriculum plans aligned with ADEK standards and institutional goals.
  

• Mentor and guide Arabic language teachers in best instructional practices.
  

• Monitor student performance and design interventions to support academic success.
  

• Coordinate with school management on academic planning, reporting, and compliance with regulatory bodies.
  

• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous professional development.
  

• Organize departmental meetings and contribute to broader school initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Fluent in Arabic with proficient English communication (spoken and written)
  

• ADEK-approved teaching qualification is mandatory
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field
  

• Proven experience as a teacher and/or Head of Arabic Department
  

• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
  

• Passionate about education and committed to academic excellence
  

• Nationality: Arab
