Our client is looking for a Head Chef for their sophisticated restaurant that is well-established with an excellent reputation throughout Dubai. A successful applicant will have at least 5 years or more experience in modern Italian cuisine in a high-end stand-alone restaurant.
Key Responsibilities to include:
Supervise the outlet kitchen according to the SOPs and standardized menu guidelines
Monitor regular standards of production to ensure the highest level of quality
Monitor all aspects of food costings
Ensure HACCP standards are implemented and follow appropriate and follow appropriate hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements at all times
Develop, create and approve new menus
Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines while maximizing stocks, ordering and inventory
Requirements
A degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management or culinary is required
5 + years experience as a Chef in a full-service restaurant and in modern Italian cuisine in Dubai
2 years experience in a supervisory role, excellent communication skills in English and Italian
