Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Paywall Development: Develop and maintain the paywall system, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and capable of handling high volumes of traffic while providing a smooth user experience.
  
• Subscription Management: Implement and improve subscription management features, including user registration, payment processing, and subscription renewal reminders.
  
• Content Access Control: Design and implement access control mechanisms to restrict access to premium content for non-subscribers and manage different subscription tiers.
  
• User Experience Enhancement: Continuously optimise the paywall system to enhance user experience, making it easy for subscribers to access premium content seamlessly.
  
• Security: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive subscriber data and prevent unauthorised access to paid content.
  
• Integration: Collaborate with other teams (e.g., content creators, marketing) to integrate the paywall system with other company tools and services.
  
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the paywall functions flawlessly across various devices and browsers.
  
• Performance optimisation: Monitor and optimise the paywalls performance, addressing any bottlenecks or issues promptly.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on paywall systems or subscription-based platforms.
  
• Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  
• Strong server-side development skills using languages like Python, Ruby, PHP, or Node.js.
  
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and API integration.
  
• Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
  
• WordPress Platform and Tech SEO understanding.
  
• Google Analytics, GTM knowledge is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
