Job Description

Our client is a multinational manufacturer of reciprocating compressors. They are currently recruiting a mechanical or industrial engineer having at least 5-7 years experience in  Field Service of reciprocating compressors.

Job Responsibilities 
  • Maintenance and overhauling of compressors and auxiliaries, with extensive experience in Hyper Compressors.
  • Working outdoor and indoor as well on LPG/LPM & LNG ship carriers.
  • On request, provide assistance to our repair center at our work shop facilities.
  • Able to work independently and supervise a junior service team.
  • Advise customers of new developments (opportunities to upgrade older equipment) and requirements regarding stocking of spare parts, service requirements and techniques.
  • While on customer premises bring to the customer’s attention any deficiencies or potential hazards observed.
  • Maintain a good professional relationship with all customers.
  • Ensure all service work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets with total customer satisfaction. 
  • Customer-focused and responsible team player with the ability to forge relationships.
  • Support local field service team to provide optimum services to fulfil the contractual obligation, customers satisfaction and building up a permanent healthy relationship between parties and actively search for new opportunities.
  • Project cost monitoring and managing forecast materials and services required to execute jobs in the quickest time.
  • Maintain and revamp existing control systems including troubleshooting, retrofit or revamp.
  • Ensure all service work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets with total customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for organization and administrative duties which are connected to the work.
  • Provide a technical report of all service work in accordance with the companys reporting standards for each assignment.
  • Provide technical assistance / advise to the companys agency.
  • To help Clients with their problems or complaints and to achieve a satisfactory solution.
  • Communicate regularly with product specialists at the companys headquarters.
  • Act always in accordance with Company standards and procedure for Health, Safety and Environmental.
  • Respond efficiently to the demands of administration procedures imposed either by th company or its entities.
  • Travel activity to approx. 80% in the middle east region and worldwide when required.



Requirements

  • You have a passion for customer focus, a strong service orientation, enjoy working with people from different nationalities and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You are of a reliable and communicative nature and have strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • A high degree of independence, communication skills in discussions with international clients and a highly developed quality conscience are characterizing your personality.
  • You have a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
  • You are fluent in the English language orally and written and you are familiar with the following IT applications (MS-Office; SAP; MS Dynamics CRM.
