Job Description

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a client in the Facility Management sector. Our client is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, security, and operational efficiency of their facilities, ensuring a safe and well-functioning environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Oversee maintenance, repair, and security operations, ensuring optimal functionality and safeguarding personnel and assets.

- Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, oversee vendor relationships, and coordinate with external agencies for necessary permits and compliance.

- Supervise facility staff, provide training programs to enhance efficiency, and coordinate with internal teams for smooth operations.

- Plan and oversee facility improvement projects, renovations, space optimization, and sustainability initiatives, including waste management and energy-efficient solutions.

- Conduct regular inspections, address facility-related issues, and develop contingency plans for emergencies such as power failures, natural disasters, or security breaches.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, budgets, compliance reports, and operational processes for continuous improvement.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in facility management, with a strong track record in managing large-scale facilities or real estate assets.

- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

- Professional certifications such as IFMA CFM, FMP, or similar are preferred.

- Expertise in building systems, maintenance protocols, and space management.

- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

- Proficiency in facility management software and tools.

- Ability to manage budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives.

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and sustainability.

- Fluency in English and Arabic.
