Job Description
Black & Grey HR is hiring for one of the leading distributors for global elevator and escalator brands in Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Elevator Installation Supervisor to lead and oversee the installation of elevator systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in elevator installation, excellent leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate elevator installation projects from start to finish.
- Develop project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Supervise and lead a team of elevator installers, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity.
- Ensure that elevator installations meet or exceed industry standards and comply with safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the installation process.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to installation quality.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate project status and address any concerns.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project milestones, challenges, and successes.
- Coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower and equipment, to meet project requirements.
- Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary materials and tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in a related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in elevator installation, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of elevator systems and installation processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
