Job Description
Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components, with a specialization in motherboards, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues. Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of electronic equipment, identifying faults, failures, and malfunctions in motherboards. Utilize specialized tools and equipment to facilitate accurate diagnosis. Repair or replace defective components on motherboards, such as integrated circuits (ICs), capacitors, resistors, and connectors. Utilize soldering and de-soldering techniques to perform precision repairs. Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to analyze and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals related to motherboards. Follow manufacturer specifications and guidelines for repair and maintenance. Maintain an inventory of electronic components and spare parts specific to motherboards. Order and procure required components to ensure their availability for repairs and replacements. Perform software updates, firmware upgrades, and BIOS flashing on motherboards, following established protocols and best practices. Ensure compatibility and adherence to manufacturer guidelines. Conduct preventive maintenance on electronic equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of motherboards. Document maintenance activities and update maintenance records. Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams or end-users regarding motherboards and related electronic systems. Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Stay updated with advancements in motherboard technology, industry trends, and emerging practices. Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance expertise and knowledge. Adhere to safety regulations, guidelines, and best practices in all aspects of work. Follow proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) protocols to prevent damage to electronic components and ensure a safe working environment.
