Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Engineers – Low Current Systems to join a leading construction and engineering firm in Riyadh. This is an office-based role focused on the design review and coordination of ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and low current systems across large-scale building and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the design review of low current systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements. · Coordinate with internal engineering teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure proper system integration. · Review and comment on technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals related to ELV/low current systems. · Utilize Navisworks and BIM tools for design coordination, clash detection, and model reviews. · Participate in value engineering, system optimization, and constructability reviews. · Ensure the implementation of best practices and standards in low current system design and documentation. · Support project teams with technical input during tendering, procurement, and execution planning phases. · Attend coordination meetings and provide clear technical guidance to stakeholders as needed. · Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. · Minimum 8 years of experience specifically in low current systems within the construction or engineering sector. · Strong knowledge of ELV systems including BMS, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, IPTV, and Structured Cabling. · Proven experience in design review and coordination using Navisworks and BIM platforms. · In-depth understanding of international codes and standards for low current systems. · Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills. · Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. · Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
