Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical CAD Draftsman (2D) with at least 8 years of experience to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality 2D electrical drawings in support of project design and execution. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering and project teams. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and revise detailed 2D electrical drawings and layouts based on engineering specifications and project requirements. Develop electrical diagrams including single-line diagrams, lighting layouts, power layouts, and low current systems. Coordinate with electrical engineers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and consistency across all drawings. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and project guidelines. Maintain organized records of drawing files and revisions. Support site teams and project managers with updated drawings as needed during different phases of the project. Minimum 8 years of proven experience as an Electrical CAD Draftsman (2D) in construction or engineering projects. Diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in the Middle East is an advantage. Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest versions), Revit and other relevant drafting software. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, symbols, and drafting standards. Familiarity with electrical design for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
