We are currently looking for a seasoned Editor to lead the editorial team and drive the content strategy of one of our core B2B brands, Construction Week Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Middle East’s construction sector, coupled with a strong editorial background in both digital and magazine platforms. As the Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brands voice, overseeing content creation, and ensuring the delivery of timely and relevant industry insights. · Develop and execute an effective content strategy that aligns with the brands objectives and resonates with our target audience.
· Plan, assign, write, and edit articles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brands editorial standards.
· Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developments to ensure the brands content remains timely and relevant.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry experts and partners, to enhance content quality and coverage.
· Ensure the timely publication of content across various platforms, including the brands website, social media channels, and print publications.
· Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
· A minimum of five years of editorial experience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred.
· Strong editorial skills including editing, proofreading, and fact checking.
· Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
· Excellent organisational and project management skills.
· Proficient in using editorial software and tools.
· Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms, content management systems, and SEO best practices.
