Job Description

Our client is a well-established retailer and as part of their growth, we are recruiting an experienced e-commerce specialist to join their Dubai head office.

The role is responsible for building and executing a robust customer journey for a strong e-commerce presence to accelerate above market growth in the ecommerce channels.

Role Summary

• Build and execute online campaigns – write and share product content, images and banners.
  
• Manage local e-commerce operations including building digital catalogs, merchandising, buying and customer service.
  
• Manage day-to-day operations including inventory management, monitoring the digital shelf, and executing the go to market strategy for new products.
  
• Manage promotional landing pages and optimize the customer journey to increase conversion and improve website performance.
  
• Monitor online retailers and marketplaces to ensure accuracy of content, images, pricing, and inventory.
  
• Monitor online retailers and marketplaces to identify white space opportunities.
  
• Conduct shopping funnel site A/B testing and experimenting on digital channels, landing pages and creatives to maximize conversion rates.
  
• Develop SEO friendly content and product listings that increases website traffic, new users, conversion rates, average order size, and customer retention.
  
• Track and analyze KPIs such as unique visitors, conversions, return rates and cart abandoned rates to drive improvements and increase sales utilizing analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, FullStory and Hotjar.
  
• Track and analyze budgeting and tracking advertising spend against ROI.
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 4+ years strong experience of e-commerce platforms and functionality, best practices in on-site search and merchandising, SEO and social media optimization, link building and web analytics in consumer goods, lifestyle or sports retail and wholesale.
  
• Strong experience in seller picks, promotions in the marketplace to exceed monthly sales targets.
  
• Experience in executing site surveys to enhance UI/UX is a strong advantage.
  
• Strong capabilities in writing online marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and showcase new products and promotions.
  

Candidate Profile

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in Dubai.
  
• Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
