Job Description

To be responsible for providing support to Drill and Blast activities including reporting, plans, and schedules while ensuring no impact on the community..

a.      Produce, review, and approve Drill and Blast schedules, plans, and designs.
b.      Monitor and make changes for Drill and Blast resourcing requirements.
c.       Maintain and improve the Drill and Blast process.
d.      Carry out and report QA/QC on the Drill and Blast Process
e.      Undertake Drill and Blast related project studies and investigations.
f.       Maintain and enhance contractor relationships.
g.      Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to maintain production plan

I. Monitor vibration

Requirements

BSc. in Mining
3-5 years of open pit mine experience

Technical Skills:
- Good Knowledge and awareness of HSE.
- Advanced computer skills.

- Using Open Pit design and planning software (Deswik, Micromine, Genovia etc.)

Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- The ability to work within a team, possess a solid work ethic, and have a commitment to safety and company development

- Good interpersonal skills concerning Omani culture.

- Good management and organizational abilities
