Job Description: Document Controller

Job Title: Document Controller
Experience: 1 to 3 years
Location: Abu Dhabi
Salary: ₹65,000 per month


Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage all documentation, ensuring proper organization and categorization for easy access.
  • Oversee the receipt, cataloging, and storage of all project-related documents.
  • Update and maintain document control procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor and track documentation workflows to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of information.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents.
  • Assist in document audits and provide support during internal and external reviews.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure all necessary documents are available and updated.
  • Maintain an up-to-date filing system and archive historical records systematically.
  • Generate periodic reports on document control status and activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in document control or a similar administrative role.
  • Knowledge of document management systems (DMS) and procedures.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and database systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain professional relationships.
  • Ability to resolve discrepancies and handle document control challenges promptly.
